For the past three days, I have tracked all my food and beverage intake. I then analyzed it to figure out how well my diet fulfills the six nutrient classes. The goal is to see where my strengths and weaknesses are, consider the impacts of these on my body, and find improvements that can lead to a healthier diet. The dates of my food tracking were the 27th, 28th, and 29th of October 2017. Here is the presentation of my intake for each day. On the 27th, I had breakfast at 10am which consisted of a cinnamon roll. Lunch was eaten at 1pm and I had a Smucker’s Uncrustables sandwich and a 16.9 fl oz bottle of Coca-Cola. I ate dinner at 7pm and had a salad with 1 cup of shredded iceberg lettuce, ½ cup of sliced cucumber, 1 ounce of sunflower seeds, and a 20 fl oz bottle of Gatorade. On the 28th, I had breakfast at 11am and it consisted of 2 cups of Cocoa Pebbles cereal with ½ cup of 2% milk. Lunch was eaten at 3pm and I had 2 individual packages of Ritz Bits cheese-filled crackers. I ate dinner at 9pm and had a salad with 1 cup of shredded iceberg lettuce, ½ cup of sliced cucumber, 1 ounce of sunflower seeds, 1 chicken tender, and a 20 fl oz bottle of Gatorade. On the 29th, I had breakfast at 11am which consisted of 2 cups of Cocoa Pebbles cereal, ½ cup of 2% milk, and 8 fl oz of black caffeinated coffee. Lunch was at 2pm and I had 1 cup of Tim Horton’s chili. I ate dinner at 8pm and had a 6” Subway Veggie Delite sub on white flatbread and a 20 fl oz bottle of Gatorade.
